I've been an orthodontist for over 40 years. I was there when clear plastic aligners exploded 20+ years ago. The latest innovation that I've been using for the past 2 years is 3D Predict. It allows me to predict which movement is going to be favorable and which movement may be unfavorable, and then adjust before I even had anything constructed. I really do like this product. It's got a very nice feel to the material. I'm able to get more movement out of certain trays than I could with other aligners. I’m especially impressed with the deep bite protocol and how quickly deep bites can be resolved. And I'm also very excited about the amount of distalization that I can get to improve molar relationship with this product. They've got a great team at 3D Predict, I highly recommend that you investigate it. Please feel free to call me personally if you've got any questions. But I think once you do it, you're going to say ‘Boy, I'm so glad I got introduced to this’.
I am a general dentist that never used aligners before. I was hesitant to use aligners, because they just pull everything back and in, which is the opposite of what I want to do. I was assured that 3D Predict can effectively expand teeth within the bone! I have started using 3D Predict for some cases, and the patients love it, they’re very happy with the results so far!
I'm a surgically trained prosthodontist and I've actually been doing orthodontics in my practice for well over 15 years. I've used plenty of systems on the market and the best system that I've seen is 3D Predict. I started using it because I was unsatisfied with a couple of features of former systems, where I had to make a lot of refinements and treatment plans were taking longer and longer to achieve the desired goal. There are a couple of things about the 3D Predict system that I really like. One is the mechanics of the trays; what normally would take 20 trays takes 10. The attachments are absolutely excellent because you are dealing with only two types of attachments: verticals and horizontals. One attachment per tooth, so it's easier to manage, easier to put in, and easier to take off. When you get smaller attachments, it's harder to glue them onto the tooth, you end up with a lot of flash and with attachments that really don't move the teeth the way you want. The single attachment that's a little bit larger, even though it is larger, allows me to actually move the teeth a lot more efficiently and I get much fewer remakes and much fewer extensions of treatment to achieve the final goal.
3D Predict has transformed my practice and transformed the way that I use clear aligners in it. The results that I’m seeing are absolutely incredible. This is because 3D Predict uses cutting-edge AI software to create unique treatment plans for individual patients. They’re not only looking at the clinical crown, they are also looking at critical structures around the teeth, which leads to more precise and long-term stable results. I don’t only use 3D Predict in the traditional sense. My practice revolves heavily around implant placement. I’m seeing patients whose spaces are too narrow for an implant or a tooth is super erupted into the space, so I’m using 3D Predict to create a space that I need for an implant. Not only do I provide 3D Predict in my practice, but I also am a patient of 3D Predict. I finished my treatment and am thrilled with the results. The plastic that they use is very comfortable, it’s not visible to patients. Overall, if anybody is looking to change a clear aligner company that they use or to add clear aligners to their practice, I highly highly recommend 3D Predict.
I am a General Dentist. I used to use a lot of Invisalign, but got out of it, because I realized that most of the cases weren't tracking. I believe 3D Predict is a game changer when it comes to clear aligner therapy. With Invisalign, I was averaging 3 to 4 refinements to get to the goal line, and there were times where my patients got burned out. We start out with 30 trays, then the refinement is 25 trays, the next refinement is 28 trays, and it gets frustrating that you never get to the goal line. With 3D Predict the refinements aren't there, we don't need them. Anybody can tip teeth, but the torquing is what it's all about. For anterior teeth that torque is important, because there's no bone on the buccal, so where you move the teeth really matters. If you’re forcing the root of the tooth further buccal where it does not belong, simply taking #8 and #9 and kicking them out so that they're now in line, you're going to blow through a lot of buccal bone in doing that. You might not see the result of that problem created for several years, but it will pop up. Gums will recede when you push teeth out into an area they don't belong. 3D Predict does it predictably, because they have a better design and a better tray.
